There is a lot to like about this keyboard. Smooth and quiet. Building quality sounds like a keyboard in the price range. Wrestling is comfortable and fatigue is nothing. The visual switches are ready to play and while not clicked, the setting in the launch area is smooth and zero phantom strokes. The space feels a little closer than the Corsair, but not too much. The media keys are nice and the wheel is nice and low on the side. The size is comparable to the K70 and fits my tray without a problem.

Here are a few things you should know before buying. 1) No USB / media transfer. It only takes one usb slot on your computer, but if you have used it before, not with this keyboard. 2) I wish the media wheel did more. It works well with volume and muting, but setting up anything else takes some work and there is not much there that makes it go beyond that. 3) And this is a major OCD issue. The wrist magnet wrestle does not stick to the keyboard. So when you reset the keyboard, you have to reset the wrestler, and even if you do not, there is no left / right stabilization. 4) Unless you change the color of the keycaps, the pudding / phantom keycaps will not light up next to the keys. The LED is located at the top of the optical switch.

Everything and everything is an amazing keyboard. In terms of price, you really compare it to the K100. It has no bells and whistles, at least without software, but the feeling of tying is slippery in a small space.

So I'll get to the big issue: This is a $ 200 keyboard with no real hardware profiles. You can not save the bright profile on the keyboard and make it continuous. I would love to be wrong and maybe still so but looking around I found enough people with the same problem. 200 fri ** for dollars and no hardware profiles, WTF Razer? Backlighting and color profiles will not work until you log in and the software loads. Stupidity.

Now that that is done, buy this keyboard and use OpenRGB on your profiles (OpenRGB also works with GPU's, Mice and other RGB devices from any compatible vendor and therefore wins). The colors are accurate when compared with other devices with the same profile. Light is scarce though. At higher light it is much darker than my old blue K70 (the first with LED failure). The similarity is not bad but some special keys, ALT specifically, light looks poor as it comes only partially.

The buttons sound amazingly smooth, the sound is lovely but very welcome. The magnetic wrist pad looked cheap but sounded nice and always stuck much better than I thought it could.

I've been using Synapse software for a while but it sounds complicated and the whole thing "Sign in to use this much needed software for your most expensive keyboard" gag sounds confusing. NVidia did it with their Geforce Experience and I took it out with that.

All in all it makes me happy but what if I had to be honest if I could buy it again? Meh, I'm not entirely sure. The damn keys sound great though.
